At Home Date Ideas to Celebrate Valentine’s / Galentine’s Day
Valentine’s Day is right around the corner, and I’m excited to celebrate, single and all. I’m not the type of single gal that is ready to knock over every v’day aisle in the store, but no shade if you are. Quite frankly, love is a beautiful thing, and I love love. So until my special someone comes knocking at my door, I’ll be celebrating Galentine’s Day with my favorite girl (aka Laila).
Let’s be honest, while I would love to take Laila on a mommy-daughter date for Galentine’s Day, COVID is real in these streets. So instead, I’m opting for a cool indoor activity because it's a safe move. Disney movies, cupcakes, a charcuterie board, and champagne (for me) are on the list for us. But there are plenty of activities you can do with your besties or special someone to celebrate Valentine's Day. Check out some dope ideas below.
Indoor Picnic
When you can’t go have a picnic outside, bring it inside. That’s right, set out your blanket, decorations, and food to make a Pinterest perfect indoor picnic. It is definitely a great time to bring out the heart-shaped charcuterie board.
Game Night
Whether you like board games or card games, a game night is always a fun idea. Add a few drinks and snacks in the mix, and you may end up playing all night.
Sidenote: If you're looking for a couples game, grab Love & Relationships After Dark cards. This deck of cards has tons of flirty, fun conversation starters specifically about relationships.
Virtual Cooking Class
Plan a romantic and/or fun experience cooking together with a trained chef during a virtual cooking class. Sur La Table offers great online classes at an affordable price.
Movie Night
Kick up your feet and grab some popcorn while you enjoy a movie marathon.
